Bond/Security Deposit

A bond of $1500 is charged in addition to the College fees. The bond is to cover the cost of any damage to your bedroom, furnishings or fittings. The bond payment is refunded in full at the end of your stay provided there is no damage, the room is left in good condition and your keys are returned.

Donating your Bond

As a not for profit organisation, the College aims to widen its financial support beyond student fees so that the costs for ongoing development and improvement of Sancta’s facilities and programs can be shared.

All students departing Sancta have the opportunity to support the College by electing to give bond money to the Sancta Sophia College Foundation as a tax deductible donation. Donations into the Building and Scholarship Funds are used for the provision of maintaining, improving and expanding the College, and for scholarships assisting students in need.

It is hoped Sancta students can support the Foundation to offer future students the same opportunities that they had.

Students can indicate their preference to receive or donate their bond on the bond form and return it to the Principal of the College.
