Student Accommodation

Sancta Sophia College takes great measures to ensure the health, safety and security of every resident, visitor and guest.

The College is only accessible by security swipe cards 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All visitors to the college are required to register on arrival. Resident Assistants (RAs) are on duty and on hand to assist throughout the college every night and 24 hours on weekends.

There are a number of Medical Centres only a few minutes from Sancta Sophia College. Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, a major city hospital, is located next to the college and the University of Sydney Medical Centre is only a short walk away.

Fire alarms are fitted throughout the college and regular fire drills are carried out.

If residents have any maintenance, housekeeping, IT issues, or would like to request overnight guest bedding, they may lodge a request via their Sancta Portal ‘maintenance’ tab.
