During the recent Champagne in the Quad event the college was very proud to announce it’s Interim Alumni Committee:

Sancta Alumna receives Harvard University scholarship

Congratulations to Monica Earl, Sancta Alumna, who not only won the won the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects NSW Design Medal in 2009, but who has now been awarded a 2-year scholarship to Harvard University.

Take part in The University of Sydney's Spring Back to Sydney on Saturday, 19 September 2009. Spring Back to Sydney is a special Alumni Reunion day for all alumni of the University. It is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and relive old memories. All graduates and their families are invited to celebrate this wonderful occasion. A full day of festivities, cultural and sporting events and family activities are planned. If you want to volunteer to assist with planning and on the day please contact the University..

Sancta Alumna takes out top Design Medal

Sancta Sophia College Alumna and University of Sydney architecture graduate Monica Earl has won the prestigious Australian Institute of Architects NSW Design Medal at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, 13 May 2009. Monica Earl lived at Sancta for three years of her five year degree and found it to be a "supportive, dynamic experience". Nominations have now closed for the University of Sydney's 2009 Alumni Awards

Sydney University's prestigious Alumni Awards program recognises outstanding achievements by alumni in community service or professional fields, locally and internationally. The Awards recognise activities and service which often go unrecognised within the wider community. The range of endeavours recognised by the Awards includes: Innovation, stimulation of new ideas and services, dedication, creativity, leadership and community spirit. An awards presentation ceremony will be held on Friday, 11 September 2009. Save this date in your diary. Find out more on the University website.
