Sancta Sophia College Scholarships, Bursaries and Prizes

Scholarships are awarded each year to students who are academically gifted, with consideration being given to need. All scholarships are awarded for one year in the first instance and are renewed subject to academic progress.

Bursaries are awarded for students who seek financial assistance towards College fees.

Annual prize awards are given to students in recognition of academic achievement in the previous year.

The closing date for the first round of applications is 27 November 2009. There will be a second round in January 2010. You can apply for multiple scholarships and/or bursaries by submitting multiple instances of this form, selecting a different scholarship and/or bursary upon each respective submission.

The University of Sydney offers an extensive scholarship program. Many College residents apply for and are awarded grants based on outstanding ability, overseas study, Indigenous student programs, remote living access, faculty specific programs and many other federal and state awards. University of Sydney Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources'
2010 Undergraduate Rural Sustainability Scholarship
The 2010 Undergraduate Rural Sustainability Scholarship offered by the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources of the University of Sydney is designed to both encourage and assist talented school leavers from rural and regional areas to study Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Science, Environmental Systems or Resource Economics at the University of Sydney, and to focus attention on career opportunities which stem from these degrees. The scholarship may be taken as a residential bursary for stay at Sancta Sophia College. More details are available here.
