University of Sydney Awards

Sancta alumni have often been shortlisted and successful in the annual University of Sydney Alumni Awards.

Recent success includes:

Rosemary Morrow (FR ’66) was awarded the Alumni Award for International Achievement in 2019.
Georgina Kreutzer (PG ’16) was awarded the Edmund Barton Graduate Medal for Master’s by Coursework Achievement in 2018.
Drew Trahms (PG ’15) was awarded the John C Harsanyi Graduate Medal for International Student Achievement in 2018.
Dr Kieran Muir (PG ’14) was a Graduate Medal finalist in 2018.
Annabelle Chauncy OAM (FR ’04) took out the major award for Service to Humanity in 2017.
Yi Yun Low (FR ’14) was shortlisted for the John C Harsanyi Medal for International student in 2017.
Joan Hume AM (FR ’65) took out the major award for Community Achievement in 2015.
Katherine McLeod (PG ’14) was shortlisted for Edmund Barton Medal in 2015.
Camilla D’Apice Phillips (FR ’11) was shortlisted for the Convocation Medal in 2014.
Christian Sautter (PG ’10) was nominated for the Edmund Barton Medal for Masters by Coursework and for the John C Harsanyi Medal for International Student Achievement Category in 2012. He was successfully recognised in the International Student Achievement award.
Sir Michael Hintze (Tutor) was awarded for International Achievement in 2009.
Elizabeth Jones (FR 2008) was shortlisted for the Nigel C Barker Medal for Sporting Achievement in 2012.
Marina Lauer (FR 2008) shortlisted for the Convocation Medal in 2012.
Dr Wirginia Maixner (FR ’80) was awarded for Professional Achievement in 2011.
Ms Clover Moore MP (FR ’65) won the Community Achievement in 2010.
The Rt Hon Baroness Gardner of Parkes AM (FR ’45) was recognised for International Achievement in 2010.
