Bedrooms – Single and Twin

Jess in her bedroomStudents have the option of a single or twin room. All rooms contain single beds, wardrobes, desk lamps and private telephones. Each student has their own direct phone number, voice mail and message bank.

Rooms are generous in size. Students may decorate their walls with posters, paintings, prints and photographs. Stereos, computers and other electrical appliances may be installed by students, as required. Modern bathrooms with a choice of bath or shower are located along each corridor. Several postgraduate bedrooms have their own ensuite bathroom.

Every Sancta room is connected to the College computer network. This allows access to the University of Sydney's extensive computer network and general files on the College server. For students who do not have their own computer, shared computer facilities are provided in the Information Technology Room.

Most rooms possess leadlight windows and look out onto the tranquil College quadrangle. Other rooms have a view over St John’s College oval and the city panorama.

What our students say...

Bedroom“When I was deciding where to go to college in Sydney, I knew it was a decision which would change my life dramatically. I was only 17 when I started university so I was apprehensive about moving so far from home. I am an only child and at school I lived on my parents’ farm in Northern NSW. It was so different from being in the centre of Sydney living in a college community. Now I am in my third year at Sancta doing a Bachelor of Psychology and have not regretted it one bit. I honestly don’t know how I would have survived first years of university without Sancta. It is such a convenient lifestyle which puts you at such an advantage to other students. Everything is here: friends, social activities, fantastic food, access to tutors, access to a whole range of interesting people and so much more!”
