McDonald Wing Conference Room

The McDonald Wing Conference Room is available for conferences and seminars all year round and provides an ideal space for training workshops, university forums, and classroom groups. It has its own entrance; separate from the main entrance of the College allowing easy access for participants as well as offering a lobby area with a kitchenette and bathroom. Reverse cycle air conditioning has recently been installed.

The McDonald Wing is fully carpeted and curtained with wall-to-ceiling windows providing a lovely outlook to St John's College oval. Sliding glass doors open onto small balconies above the leafy garden. The left wall of the McDonald Wing Conference Room is lined with timber bookshelves, filled with part of the College’s library collection.

Facilities include:

1. Phone and internet connection
2. Data projector with screens and computer
3. Electronic whiteboard and traditional whiteboard
4. PA system including wireless and lapel microphones
5. Reverse cycle air conditioning
6. Purified water dispenser

Room capacity

The McDonald Wing Conference Room can be arranged in one of the following seating configurations to meet your needs:

• Theatre seating for 100 people
• Classroom seating with tables for 50 people
• U-shape seating with tables and chairs for 30 people
• Boardroom style seating for 50 people

The McDonald Wing is 13.3m long x 9m wide.

Availability

The McDonald Wing Conference Room is available year round dependant on the College calendar and excluding the Christmas/New Year period when the College is closed.
