Start your Sancta journey at our Open Day!
Event details
Thinking of living on campus at the University of Sydney in 2027, 2028 or beyond? Prospective undergraduate and postgraduate residents and their families are invited to join us for our upcoming Open Day to explore all that Sancta has to offer.
Open Day is an ideal opportunity for students who are beginning to consider their university pathway and want to better understand the experience of living in a supportive residential college community.
Enjoy a complimentary lunch in our Dining Hall (12:00 pm to 1:30 pm), meet current residents and Sancta staff, and take a personalised tour of the College. You will gain insight into the academic, social and personal support available to students, as well as the vibrant community that makes Sancta a place where university students can thrive.
Who is Open Day for?
Sancta’s Open Day is best suited to Year 11 women who are beginning to explore their university options and want to learn more about residential college life at the University of Sydney. Attending Open Day in Year 11 allows students and families to make informed decisions ahead of the residential college application period in Year 12.
Prospective postgraduate students are also warmly encouraged to attend to learn more about our Graduate House.
Year 12 women are very welcome to join us; however, applications for undergraduate places in 2027 close on 31 July 2026, prior to Open Day. As such, Open Day may be most helpful for Year 12 students who are considering a gap year, or for those who have already applied and would like the opportunity to learn more about the Sancta community and tour the College in person.
