Sancta’s Once in a Century Reunion on Saturday 21 March 2026 brought generations of alumni and friends together for a memorable day of connection, celebration and the official launch of the College’s Centenary year. From market stalls and live music in the Main Driveway to the formal proceedings and dancing in the Quadrangle, the event celebrated the spirit, traditions and community that have shaped Sancta across the past 100 years.

There was a sense from the very beginning of the day that something special was unfolding. The celebration began in the Main Driveway, where guests arrived to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, exploring the market stalls, reconnecting with one another and enjoying live entertainment from Could Be Tuesday and Eva Diana as the afternoon took shape.

Thank you to stallholders Brigid McLaughlin, GJ Occasions, Sancta Rings by Skye Vincent, Cana Farm, Sophia’s Laundry and Art by El for sharing your work and passions with our community and for contributing to such an enjoyable start to the day.

The afternoon then moved to the Quadrangle for the official launch of our Centenary year.

We thank Sophia-Rose Markham (FR 2025) and Ellie-May Turner (FR 2025) for their moving Acknowledgement of Country, Clover Moore AO (FR 1965) for formally opening the celebrations, and Gen Kelly (FR 2023) for guiding the program of reunion activities as our wonderful Master of Ceremonies.

As the evening unfolded, the celebration continued in the Quadrangle with live music from Aubrey, bringing generations of alumni together on the dance floor, followed by a set from DJ Alex Dugan that carried the festivities late into the night.

A particular highlight was the return of Fresher dances, with alumni from across the decades taking to the dancefloor to reprise the routines they performed in their first year at Sancta!
